We visited this restaurant with Lee and Sherri on our MDI Marathon trip. I was not very impressed. Chips were not served at the table until our order was placed. The price of the Margaritas was very high for what was billed as a pitcher but by any standard was not 64 oz of liquid. My guess is that the pitcher was a liter. Food was OK and the Nachos with cheese were very good. But again, they were not free.

The only good thing I can say is that it added another restaurant to the list.

We were seated immediately. However it took a few minutes for a server to show up. We placed an order for Margaritas and queso with jalapenos. We were told that the queso contained jalapenos. After about ten minutes the margarita showed up. After tasting it we had to order another shot of tequila. That took a few more minutes. Chips and salsa arrived at the table after the margarita so I’m guessing about 20 minutes. However no queso was in sight and we had to remind the server that we ordered it. It finally arrived. Whatever jalapenos were in the queso were finely chopped and hard to find.

We ordered and I selected combo #29 tamale, chile relleno, and tostado. Pretty typical of cheap Mexican food. Beth did not fare much better.

I will say that when the bill arrived we were not charged for the extra shot of tequila or the missing queso. However there were too many problems with this place to warrant a return visit.

We were looking for a Mexican restaurant close to Beth's sisters apartment in Chicago and used Yelp to find this place.

Service was OK and chips and salsa was OK. Even though we ordered top shelf margaritas I think they forgot to put in tequila.

My dish arrived and it was cold. Cold in a Mexican restaurant that only had 4 other patrons in the place!

This was not a good experience. We will find another Mexican restaurant on our next visit.
