We visited it with our friends Susan & Todd Folk and Sherri & Lee Coursey.

We were seated in the atrium that was very nice but also very cold. There was no seating available inside so we endured.

Chips were unusual in that the not only include corn chips but plantain chips.  Salsa was of three varieties and very good. We also ordered a Ceviche that was very good.

Beth was delighted that they had a gluten free menu.

Three of us ordered the Mexican White Shrimp dish that proved very good. Beth had Carnitas, Todd had the Grilled Beef Filet and Lee had the Roasted Chicken. All of the meals were very good. Several of us also had Elotes which is roasted corn on the cob.

The Margaritas were of good value with the house only costing $7 and worth it.

Only bad part of the night was getting there through all of the downtown road construction.

By the way, Alma Cocina translates to soul kitchen in Spanish.
